Abstract

A left atrial appendage occluder belongs to the field of medical devices. The device has a blocking disk, blocking umbrella, elastic column, disk-column connector and threaded connector. The surface of the blocking umbrella and blocking disk is covered with a permeable polytetrafluoroethylene membrane. This occluder is mainly made of nickel-titanium alloy. The occluder is in the shape of a bowl with barbs fixed on the edge, which is easy to position. The elastic rod with a spiral structure of the elastic column can realize the repositioning of the occluder disk after the occluder is released. Positioning can realize the functions of telescopic and changing the direction of the occlusion disk, which reduces the angle requirement of the delivery sheath relative to the left atrial appendage during surgery; in addition, there are threaded wires on the edge of the occlusion disk, and this structure can help position the occlusion disk.
