Abstract

The invention provides a crosslinkable composition, which comprises polyolefin, organic silane containing olefinic bonds, a crosslinking catalyst, a crosslinking initiator, an antioxidant, silicon dioxide, and polyethylene powder. For 100 parts by weight of polyolefin, there are 1 to 5 parts by weight of organic silane containing olefinic bonds, 0.1 to 0.3 part by weight of crosslinking catalyst, 0.08 to 0.3 part by weight of crosslinking initiator, 0.1 to 0.5 part by weight of silicon dioxide, 0.1 to 0.7 part by weight of antioxidant, and 1 to 10 parts by weight of polyethylene powder. The polyolefin, the organic silane, the crosslinking catalyst, the crosslinking initiator, and the antioxidant are adsorbed by the silicon dioxide and the polyethylene powder. The invention also provides a crosslinked cable coating material prepared from the provided crosslinkable composition. The provided crosslinked cable coating material has an excellent comprehensive performance and processing performance.
