Abstract

The invention discloses a radiation protection material for a gamepad shell and a preparation method thereof belonging to the technical field of radiation protection materials. The material comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 65-85% of PC (polycarbonate) or ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene), 9-20% of nano barium sulfate, 5-10% of compatilizer and 1-5% of chopped carbon fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing the PC or ABS, nano barium sulfate and compatilizer; cooling, and then adding the chopped carbon fiber into the obtained mixture; and further mixing, and performing melting granulation to obtain the radiation protection material for a gamepad shell.
