Problems solved by technology

However the mechanical complexity increases, the device requires more components and mechanical attachment units, which increases the space requirement and is therefore undesirable from the user's point of view
Document FR2992462 proposes an electromechanical additional unit that allows a bistable operation of the contactor in a monostable operation, but this also increases the complexity of the contactor assembly

Embodiment Construction

[0051] figure 1 The contactor 1 is shown schematically and only by way of example. The subassemblies and components necessary for the intended function of the contactor are arranged in the housing 9 . Not all components and assemblies are shown here, only the switch assembly 2 with the snap-action switch mechanism 8 as well as the switch device 3 and the electronic control circuit 10 are shown schematically by way of example. The control circuit 10 has an operating interface, symbolized here by a line 11 . It can represent a communication line connecting the contactor to a superordinate control or control unit, or an operating device for manual actuation of the contactor 1 , such as an operating button or a keyboard or a touchpad or the like.

[0052] The switching device 3 is here only shown as a double contact bridge by way of example. A first current path runs between the terminals 12 , 12 ′ of the first terminal pair via the first contact bridge arrangement 13 . The fi...

Abstract

The invention relates to a contactor with an electromagnetically actuated bistable switching assembly. The switching assembly can occupy two stable switch configurations, and is provided with a switching device, wherein the switching assembly acts on the switching device through a driving device, and each of the two stable switch configurations corresponds to a stable switching state of the switching assembly. The switching assembly is characterized by comprising a control coil, two switch magnets, and a bistable quick switching mechanism that is movably connected with the control coil and keeps the control coil in a final position of first and second stablization, wherein the quick switching mechanism stays in a first stable switching mechanism state and the control coil is in the first stable final position in the first stable switch configuration, the quick switching mechanism stays in a second stable switching mechanism state and the control coil is in the second stable final position in the second stable switch configuration, and the first stable switch configuration is converted into the other stable switch configuration through currents of the control coil.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a contactor with: an electromagnetically actuatable, bistable switching assembly that can assume two stable switching configurations; and with a switching device, wherein the switching The component acts on the switching device via the driver, and each of the two stable switching configurations corresponds to a stable switching state of the switching component. Background technique [0002] Contactors typically include an electromagnetic actuator system that actuates a contact system with main and auxiliary contacts when it is activated. For contactors with a monostable switching arrangement, a permanent holding energy is required to hold the contact system in the closed state, ie the switching coils of the electromagnetic actuator system must be permanently flowed by a holding current. This results in high energy losses and corresponding operating costs over a long period of time. [0003] Document FR2992462 describes a cont...
