Abstract

During cold start of the engine, an intake bypass, an exhaust bypass and a heating device are used together to effectively shorten the rise time of a three-way catalytic converter, and high-temperature compressed air is pumped in to solve the problems of rich mixture during start of the engine and low conversion efficiency caused by oxygen deficiency during CO and HC catalytic oxidation. When the temperature of the three-way catalytic converter is higher than 850 DEG C, heat in the three-way catalytic converter is carried away by a cooling liquid via a cooling pipeline, so that sharp temperature rise of a catalyst due to sudden braking, abnormal combustion, continuous operation under high-load working condition and the like are prevented, and the conversion efficiency cannot be impacted by heat inactivation of the three-way catalytic converter.
