Abstract

The invention discloses a repair method for short circuit between MWT photovoltaic module strings. The repair method comprises the steps of: step 1, judging a cause of a defect module according to an EL picture, and determining that the defect module is caused by inter-string short circuit; step 2, finding out a position of residual metal foil according to the EL picture and a circuit board of the metal foil, irradiating a cell panel surface corresponding to the residual metal foil with lamplight, determining a residual length of the metal foil on a gap, and marking the length on a back plate; step 3, stripping off the back plate and EVA at the residual position according to the mark, slitting the residual metal foil at the gap, and finally tearing down the residual metal foil, wherein the slitting width of the metal foil ought to be smaller than a battery string interval; step 4, subjecting the module processed in the step 3 to an EL test, and confirming whether an anomaly occurs or not; step 5, and sequentially laying the EVA and the back plate on the back plate side of the module undergone the step 4, and placing the laminated module into a laminating machine for further lamination. According to the repair method, the module to be repaired can be repaired without removing the back plate, the time consumption of the process is shorter, and the production and manufacturing cost is low.
