By adopting the hollow metal balls, flame of a liquid pool fire can be significantly inhibited without using any fire extinguishing agents, therefore, the flame of the fire is reduced, combustion radiation is reduced, the risk of igniting other combustibles is reduced, the foam loss rate of a foam extinguishing agent can be decreased, and the hollow metal balls can assist the foam extinguishing agent in extinguishing the full-liquid-level fire of the storage tank.
