Problems solved by technology

[0005] Document 3 (Zihao Liu, Yongzhong Zhu, Jian Zhou, "Improved design of vitaldiantenna with loading resistance for wideband applications," IEEE Antennas & Wireless Propagation Letters, pp(99), 286-289.) realized the miniaturization of the antenna by loading resistance design, but the loading resistance increases the loss, resulting in a relatively low gain of the antenna
[0006] It can be seen from the above that the Vivaldi antenna is relatively easy to achieve good radiation characteristics in the ultra-wideband range, but the prior art miniaturized Vivaldi antenna has disadvantages such as high loss and low gain.

Embodiment 1

[0030] In this embodiment, the overall structural size of the ultra-wideband Vivaldi antenna is 3.58mm*52mm*60mm.

[0031] to combine Figure 1~4 , a kind of ultra-broadband Vivaldi antenna of the present invention comprises the upper layer PCB dielectric board and the lower layer PCB dielectric board and the U-shaped metal slot that is positioned at both sides of upper layer PCB dielectric board and lower layer PCB dielectric board in parallel, the upper layer PCB dielectric board and the lower layer The PCB dielectric board is fixed by the U-shaped metal grooves on both sides. The outer surface of the upper PCB dielectric board is printed with an exponential groove gap metal layer. There are two rectangular grooves symmetrically arranged on the inner edge of the layer, and the outer surface of the lower PCB dielectric board is printed with the same exponential groove gap metal layer at the corresponding position on the outer surface of the upper PCB dielectric board; the inn...

Abstract

The present invention discloses an ultra-wideband Vivaldi antenna. The antenna comprises an upper PCB dielectric plate, a lower PCB dielectric plate and U-shaped metal slots, wherein the upper PCB dielectric plate and the lower PCB dielectric plate are arranged in parallel and face each other, and the U-shaped metal slots are located at two sides of the upper PCB dielectric plate and the lower PCBdielectric plate; the upper PCB dielectric plate and the lower PCB dielectric plate are fixed through the U-shaped metal slots at the two sides; the outer surface of the upper PCB dielectric plate isprinted with an exponential type slit metal layer; semi-elliptical open slots are symmetrically formed at two side wings of the exponential type slit metal layer; rectangular slots are formed in theexponential type slit metal layer; the rectangular slots are symmetrically distributed near the inner edge of the exponential type slit metal layer; and the outer surface of the lower PCB dielectric plate is printed with the same exponential type slit metal layer corresponding to the outer surface of the upper PCB dielectric plate. According to the ultra-wideband Vivaldi antenna of the invention,a strip line is adopted to perform feeding; the strip line is in transition connection with a microstrip line at the edge of the antenna, so that the antenna can be conveniently connected with a radiofrequency connector through the microstrip line; and an even number of metal through hole pairs are distributed along two sides of the strip line, and therefore, the performance of a transmission line can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of antennas, in particular to an ultra-wideband Vivaldi antenna. Background technique [0002] Modern radar and communication systems have more and more urgent demands on multifunctional equipment, and miniaturized ultra-wideband antennas have received more and more attention in the field of antenna design. The Vivaldi antenna is a kind of ultra-wideband antenna, which theoretically has infinite bandwidth and has good end-fire characteristics. However, the size of the Vivaldi antenna unit is required to reach the half-wavelength of the cutoff frequency at the low-frequency end, and the miniaturized antenna design using the loading technology in the past needs to pay the price of gain, so there is an urgent need for a high-gain antenna with miniaturized size Antenna unit. [0003] Document 1 (P.J.Gibson, "The Vivaldi aerial," in Proc.9th Eur.Microw.Conf., Brighton, U.K., pp.101–105, Jun.1979.) proposed the Vivaldi an...
