The replacing method comprising steps of: checking theconfiguration of the ordinary PC; loading a system into new hard disk by using an Arcos disk system recovery disk; copying a drive program for NT to the new hard disk; installing the drive program; setting the IP address of a network adapter; connecting the ordinary PC to an Arcos NT system; and powering on the ordinary PC and carrying out a test. The method replaces a SIEMENS dedicated controllerwith the ordinary PC. The ordinary PC is easy to obtain and the method is simple, saves equipment purchase cost, does not affect normal production, achieves high working efficiency and increases output.
