Abstract

The invention provides a phosphorescence excitation spectral measurement system and method for a long-lasting phosphor material. The phosphorescence excitation spectral measurement system comprises anexcitation light source 1, a first light condensing element 2, an electric light shutter 3, a grating spectral monochromator 4, a second light condensing element 5, an optical long-wave pass filter 6, a sample rack 7, a third light condensing element 8, an optical band-pass filter 9, a photoelectric detector 10, an electric signal amplifier 11, a data acquisition and storage unit 12, a system control unit 13 and a data analytic processing and storage unit 14. Such parameters as irradiation time, excitation wavelength and light intensity acquisition interval are set by a control unit. In the phosphorescence excitation spectral measurement method, phosphorescence decay curves under different excitation wavelengths are measured at first, and variation curves of the phosphorescence strength along with excitation wavelengths at different decay time, namely, phosphorescence excitation spectral curves, are obtained. The phosphorescence excitation spectral measurement system and method for the long-lasting phosphor material can provide more information than a fluorescence excitation spectrum and facilitates study on the luminous mechanism of the long-lasting phosphor material.
