The rotation speed communication strategy is matched with an engine electronic control unit (ECU) to be used,and a rotation speed signal of the engine is transmitted to a hybrid power system controller. The rotation speed communication strategy comprises the steps of setting of a rotation speed change rate,detection of a rotation speed signal, contrast selection, indirect transmission and the like. An engine rotation speed filtering function is added, and the signal interference phenomenon is eliminated. The rotation speed communication strategy has the following advantages that (1) the engine rotation speed signal obtained through the filtering function can provide an accurate engine rotation speed signal for the hybrid power system controller, thus gear shifting of a gearbox is smooth, and the driving comfort of the whole vehicle is improved; and (2) gas consumption is lowered, and transientresponsiveness of the whole vehicle is improved; a torque request sent by the hybrid power system controller and the actual torque provided by the engine are synchronous through the accurate rotationspeed signal, thus the engine is in the optimal operating point, gas consumption is lowered, and transient responsiveness of the whole vehicle is improved.
