[0086] image 3 It is the ROC curve of several different selection methods under the placement of the first group of antennas, which are the optimal selection, the optimal selection based on relative entropy, the relaxation-based selection mentioned in this patent, random selection, and the worst The selected ROC curve, because the position is random, the ROC is averaged for the transmitting antennas at different positions. It can be seen from the figure that the detection performance of the selection scheme based on the selection method in this paper is very close to the optimal selection. This proves the effectiveness of the selection method. It can be seen from Figure 4 that the detection performance achieved by a small number of selected antennas is close to the detection performance when all antennas are selected.

Abstract

The invention, which belongs to the field of signal processing, discloses a relative-entropy-criterion-based external radiation source selection method of a passive MIMO radar and particularly relatesto a method for selection of a passive MIMO radar transmitting station so as to solve a problem of external radiation source selection in the field of radar signal processing technology. A matched filter outputs a plan of opportunistic irradiation source selection of a passive MIMO radar by using a relative entropy as a selection standard under two kinds of hypothesis testing. Therefore, an EI selection combination having an optimal or suboptimum detection performance can be obtained in a range allowed by resources, so that a problem of too high complexity in a receiver in the prior is solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of signal processing, and particularly relates to the problem of selecting an external radiation source in the technical field of radar signal processing, and is applicable to the selection of a passive MIMO radar transmitting station. Background technique [0002] Passive radar has many advantages, and it can use surrounding electromagnetic resources, such as radio broadcast, TV, satellite, or WiFi, as a transmission source for signal processing. Compared with traditional active radar, it saves a lot of hardware resources and energy, and because it does not emit electromagnetic waves, it is extremely concealed. [0003] MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Out) radar is the introduction of multiple input multiple output technology in communication into radar, because it can observe targets in all directions, and thus gain space diversity. Passive MIMO radar combines the advantages of MIMO radar and passive radar, and can r...
