Embodiment 1 2

[0025] Embodiment 1 Metformin prevents and treats noise-induced hearing loss

[0026] (1) Grouping and handling of animals

[0027] Healthy adult male Sprague Dawley rats, weighing 230-280 g, were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of the Institute of Environmental Medicine and Occupational Medicine, Academy of Military Medicine, Academy of Military Sciences. The animals were observed for 3 days before the experiment, and were randomly divided into 4 groups, including: the experimental control group, a total of 5 Sprague Dawley rats (10 ears); the experimental control group was given deionized water orally. In the metformin low-dose group, a total of 5 Sprague Dawley rats (10 ears) were given metformin 75 mg / kg / day. In the metformin medium dose group, a total of 5 Sprague Dawley rats (10 ears) were given metformin 150 mg / kg / day. In the metformin high-dose group, a total of 7 Sprague Dawley rats (14 ears) were given metformin 300 mg / kg / day. Dissolve metformin in deio...

Embodiment 2 2

[0041] The preparation of embodiment 2 metformin tablet

[0042] Preparation process: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is dissolved in an appropriate amount of water to make an 8% solution, and lactose is dissolved in hydroxypropyl methylcellulose solution as a binder solution. Metformin was crushed through a 100-mesh sieve and mixed with microcrystalline cellulose for the binder plasmid. The prepared granules are added with magnesium stearate, mixed evenly, and compressed with a tablet machine to obtain metformin tablets.

Embodiment 3 2

[0043] The preparation of embodiment 3 metformin capsules

[0044] Preparation process: (1) premixing metformin, microcrystalline cellulose, and 2% hypromellose and wet granulation; (2) drying and sizing the granules obtained by wet granulation to obtain dry granules; (3 ) blending the dry granules with magnesium stearate to obtain the blended granules; (3) filling the blended granules into capsules to obtain metformin capsule preparations.

Abstract

The invention relates to application of melbine in preparing an NIHL (Noise Induced Hearing Loss) prevention product. A pharmacological experiment of a prevention function of the melbine on noise exposure mouse hearing loss shows that the melbine is capable of remarkably preventing and therapeutically protecting hearing loss caused by noise exposure and shows that the melbine has a function of preventing the NIHL. According to the application disclosed by the invention, experimental research on the melbine verifies new application of the melbine in preventing the NIHL.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a new application of metformin, in particular to an application of metformin in the preparation of products for the prevention and treatment of noise-induced hearing loss. Background technique [0002] With the development of modern industry and weaponry, the harm of noise is becoming more and more serious, and it is reflected in many aspects. Noise exposure can cause structural and functional damage and even pathological damage to the auditory and non-auditory systems or organs. The most important damage is Sensorineural auditory impairment with hearing loss as the main manifestation. However, the current technical level and economic conditions are difficult to reduce the noise to a harmless level, so it is of great significance to strengthen the medical protection of noise in industrial or military operating environments. [0003] The main target organ of noise damage is the auditory organ. Noise-induced hearing loss is main...
