Abstract

The invention discloses a compressed air energy storage system based on a linear electric generator and a control method thereof. The system comprises a high-pressure air storage chamber, a liquid piston, a hydraulic piston, the linear electric generator and a hydraulic control mechanism; the top of the high-pressure air storage chamber is connected with the top of the liquid piston through a pipeline; the bottom of the liquid piston is connected with the hydraulic piston through a pipeline; the hydraulic control mechanism is connected with the hydraulic piston to control a piston rod to conduct reciprocating movement; and the piston rod is connected with the linear electric generator to achieve power generation. The invention discloses the control method of the system at the same time. Astroke controller is combined with a valve switch to control the stroke of the piston, so that the power of an input power grid of the whole compressed air energy storage system is adjusted; when theload is constant, the average power output by unit time does not change along with change of the gas pressure intensity; and the linear electric generator is adopted, constant voltage when the systemsupplies power is ensured through voltage loop and current loop control, and the power supply reliability is improved.
