Abstract

The invention provides an assembly line layout optimization method. According to the method, a multi-target genetic algorithm, namely a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II), is utilized,an optimal solution to a sorting sequence of devices on K positions on an assembly line is figured out according to two targets including the total component machining conveying distance and the totaldevice cost, and correspondingly optimization of the layout of the assembly line is achieved, wherein each individual in a group represents a device sorting method on the assembly line, each variablein each individual represents a device number on the corresponding position, and 0 indicates that there is no device at the position. According to the algorithm, by adopting 0 for indicating that there is no device at the corresponding position, increase of an optimal number of devices can be controlled, the cost is effectively controlled, correspondingly the algorithm is more flexible, and the optimal solution to a question can be better figured out. The algorithm increases the running speed and improves the convergence of a solution set, the diversity and distributivity of a solution groupare maintained by utilizing crowding distance, and the situation that only local optimal solutions are figured out is avoided.
