The transportation method comprises that the transportation pipelines which contain the gas injection channels are prepared; the gas injection type of transportation pipelines are connected according to the traditional pipeline connection method; a gas supply device is connected with the gas injection channels; during the transportation process of the slurry, the gas is injected into the sediment fluid continuously; the gas supply pressure is adjusted until the best sediment transportation efficiency is attained; after the transportation of the sediment, the gas continues to be injected into the transportation pipeline until the cleaning of the pipeline is completed. The invention has simple implementation technology and low sediment transportation cost. The method includes the following steps: 1) collecting coach-van GPS trajectory data by a set statistics period, and building a historical database used for the index statistics of highway passenger and freight transportation; 2) performing pre-processing on the collected coach-van GPS trajectory data; 3) performing relational matching on the pre-processed coach-van GPS trajectory data and electronic map road network information of a highway network so that the accurate position of driving vehicles can be determined; 4) determining the starting point and ending point of each travel section of coaches and vans so that the dividing of the coach-van GPS trajectory data can be achieved; and 5) performing transport distance calculating on the coach-van GPS trajectory division data so that three key indexes, which is the ratio of taking expressways, theratio of taking ordinary highways and average transport distances, of the coaches and vans can be obtained. The method has important meanings for building complete automatic statistics of highway network passenger and freight transportation in the case of fully utilizing existing data resources and without increasing software and hardware input.
