This invention discloses a potato mulching planter, comprising a frame and a transmission mechanism. The frame is connected to a
tractor via a three-point suspension. The frame is equipped with a rotary
tillage and ridging device, a fertilization and
pesticide application device, a
pipe-laying and mulching device, a seed metering device, and a seed-planting device. The rotary
tillage and ridging device includes a rotary
tillage component and a ridging component. The fertilization and
pesticide application device has a
fertilizer pipe positioned in the middle of the rotary tillage component, which delivers
fertilizer into the soil layer in the middle of the
ridge. The
pipe-laying and mulching device lays
drip irrigation pipes and film on the
ridge. The seed metering device has a seed metering component that sequentially feeds potato seeds into a duckbill-type seed-planting cylinder. The transmission mechanism drives the connecting rod
assembly and the duckbill-type seed-planting cylinder to swing back and forth. The duckbill-type seed-planting cylinder pierces the film for seeding. This invention adopts a planting method of first covering the soil with film and then planting in holes on the film. This equipment integrates multiple functions such as rotary tillage, ridging,
pesticide application, fertilization, pipe laying, mulching, seeding, and soil covering, greatly improving the efficiency of potato planting.
