The invention provides a method and a device of power control of wind turbine generators. The method of the power control comprises the following steps that wind resource data in a future preset timeperiod is predicted according to historical wind resource data; maximum design life of the wind turbine generators allowed to be consumed in the future preset time period is estimated according to residual design life of the wind turbine generators, wherein the design life refers to a running time of the wind turbine generators under a design load; according to the predicted wind resource data andthe estimated maximum design life, the optimal output power of the wind turbine generator of each wind speed section is determined in the future preset time period; and the operation of the wind turbine generators is controlled according to the optimal output power of the wind turbine generator of each determined wind speed section in the future preset time period. According to the method and thedevice, by predicting the wind resource data and the designed service life consumed through the wind turbine generators, the optimal output power of the wind turbine generator of each wind speed section is determined, the power generation can be improved as far as possible while the safe operation of the wind turbine generators is ensured.
