Abstract

The invention discloses a device for displaying a video in real time based on a DSC compression algorithm. An image segmentation module is used for segmenting an original image into a plurality of sub-images. A pixel value prediction module is used for performing parallel pixel value prediction on each pixel in each pixel group of each sub-image. A residual and pixel reconstruction module quantizes and reconstructs the residual of each pixel. An entropy coding module entropy codes each sub-image with pixels reconstructed. A code rate control module calculates the quantization coefficient of each sub-image during the entropy coding to dynamically adjust the number of bytes required for entropy coding of the pixels of each sub-image. A multichannel code stream recombination module performs multichannel code stream recombination on the DSC compressed image data corresponding to each sub-image, and transmits an obtained recombined code stream to a liquid crystal module for display. The device enables a module originally operating in a series mode to operate in a parallel mode, and increases calculation speed.
