Problems solved by technology

Single-needle ablation can be used for small tumors, but when the tumor is large in diameter or irregular in shape, single-needle ablation may easily cause local overheating, leading to tissue carbonization, and even damage to surrounding normal tissues. Root ablation needle for therapeutic purposes
Multi-needle ablation surgery is difficult, and at the same time puts forward higher requirements on the level of doctors

Embodiment Construction

[0027] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0028] figure 1 It is a schematic flow chart of the method of the present invention, including the needle path planning process and the reverse thermal dose optimization process. The process flow of the treatment planning method is:

[0029] Step A: read and display the medical image sequence of the patient, and perform 3D reconstruction;

[0030] Step B: According to the 3D visualization results, select the optimal number of needles and the needle path. figure 2 It is a schematic diagram of needle insertion for ablation surgery according to the present invention. The principle of selecting the optimal needle insertion path is to make the ablation area cover the tumor as much as possible and cause the least damage to the patient. Due to soft tissue deformation and other random errors during puncture, the shortest distance between the puncture point on the skin and t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a microwave ablation treatment planning method based on a CT image. The method comprises the steps that a medical image sequence of a patient is read and displayed to perform three-dimensional reconstruction; the best needle inserting number and needle inserting route are selected according to a three-dimensional visualized result, wherein the route can avoid important tissues and organs, safety distance is reserved, and the route is the shortest route between a cutaneous needle inserting point and a target region; the optimal input parameters are inversely resolved according to the geometry of a tumor and a preset needle inserting route using an automatic three-dimensional thermal-dose optimization algorithm; the range of a three-dimensional tissue damage field anda temperature field is displayed to evaluate a treatment planning result. By means of the method, a doctor can be assisted in making a reasonable preoperative plan of microwave ablation operation, the clinical executing effect of an operation scheme designed by the doctor using a computer simulation method before the operation is conducted to provide a reliable operation guidance for the doctor,the executing difficulty of the operation is reduced, the operation is safer, and excess damage on the patient is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of microwave ablation, belongs to the cutting-edge discipline intersecting the fields of computer and medical intervention, and in particular relates to a method for planning microwave ablation treatment based on CT images. Background technique [0002] Microwave ablation is currently one of the main means of treating liver cancer or lung cancer, and is an effective interventional tumor therapy. It does not require surgery for the patient during the treatment process. After the patient is locally anesthetized, the needle-shaped microwave radiation antenna can be punctured into the tumor through the skin, and the local heat zone generated by the microwave is used to destroy the tumor tissue, thereby achieving the purpose of treatment. [0003] Compared with traditional excision surgery, microwave ablation surgery has the following technical advantages: First, microwave ablation can be treated repeatedly, with...
