Abstract

The invention discloses a split type fiber-optic gyroscope north-seeker which is composed of an inertial sensor device and a display and control device. The inertial sensor device of the system comprises two fiber-optic gyroscopes and two quartz flexible accelerometers in orthogonal distribution in a horizontal direction, is rigidly connected to an indexing mechanism by virtue of a T-shaped bracket, and is responsible for measurement of rotational angular velocity of the earth and gravitational acceleration; and the display and control device is responsible for completion of functions such asinternal source transformations, indexing control of the indexing mechanism, calculation of the course angle and attitude angle, man-machine interaction and the like. According to the split design, the fiber-optic gyroscope north-seeker is divided into two parts, namely the inertial sensor device and the display and control device, and the inertial sensor device is compact in design and is particularly applicable to application occasions with space limitations; and due to the arrangement of the two fiber-optic gyroscopes and the two accelerometers, the indexing frequency can be decreased fromfour times to twice in a four-position north-seeking scheme, the residence time at a single position is doubled, and the sampling time of the fiber-optic gyroscopes is increased, so that the system accuracy is improved.
