Abstract

The invention discloses a horizontal and uplift combined loading device and method for a pile foundation model test. The horizontal and uplift combined loading device comprises a model pile embedded in a soil in a model slot; a triangular supporting frame A is arranged on the side face of the model slot; a counter-force beam C is arranged above the model groove; a pile head connecting member B isarranged on the upper part of the model pile; and the pile head connecting member B winds across a horizontal loading fixed pulley of the triangular supporting frame A and an uplift combined pulley ofthe counter-force beam C through a steel wire rope and is connected to a loading component which is under the fixed pulley. The position of the horizontal loading fixed pulley and the uplift combinedpulley is adjusted, the weight is placed on the corresponding loading component according to the test requirement, and the loading test of the radial or axial direction or radial and axial combined directions of the model pile is achieved. The horizontal and uplift combined loading device and method for the pile foundation model test can independently apply the horizontal loading and the uplift loading to the model pile at the same time, and the change of the uplift and the horizontal loading can be negligible when the horizontal displacement and the vertical displacement occur on the top ofthe model pile so that the bearing behavior of the model pile under the combined loading of the uplift and horizontal directions can be better analyzed.
