The invention discloses a high-strength thermal-insulation wallboard for a building. The wallboard comprises an inner bearing plate, an outer bearing plate and a middle thermal-insulation core. The inner bearing plate and the outer bearing plate comprise the following components in parts by weight: 34-44 parts of cement, 27-37 parts of river sand with 30-70 meshes, 24-34 parts of natural-grading building sand with 50-160 meshes, 0.20-0.30 part of 19-mm polystyrene fibers, 0.05-0.11 part of redispersible latex powder and 0.08-0.15 part of a water reducing agent, and also comprises 3-8 parts byweight of additional lime putty. The wallboard disclosed by the invention is a bearing plate which is made by taking cement as a cementing material, and the strength is as high as 10 MPa. The wallboard can meet the requirements of secondary construction of all walls of the building, the surface is level and smooth, and surface treatment is not needed after installation.
