However, this design solution is complex and cost-intensive
Alternatively, a predetermined secondary voltage is detected on the primary side, however, where an additional secondary-side voltage drop caused by parasitic effects cannot be detected
Therefore, it is not possible to accurately determine the actual voltage on the secondary side

Embodiment Construction

[0060] figure 1 A roughly sketched equivalent circuit diagram of the transformer unit 2 is shown. Equivalent circuit diagrams are used in electronics, for example, to calculate electrical variables within electrical circuits. The special feature of an equivalent circuit diagram is that it shows a circuit in which components that are not actually constructed are also contained, which contribute to the switching behavior of the circuit. For example, an equivalent circuit diagram has components which (typically) characterize losses occurring within the circuit.

[0061] The transformer unit 2 has a primary side 4 with a primary coil 6 and a secondary side 8 with a secondary coil 10 . The primary coil 6 and the secondary coil 10 preferably comprise an electrically conductive material, in the exemplary embodiment copper. An x-ray tube arrangement 12 of an x-ray system 11 is connected to the secondary coil 10 and thus on the secondary side. In particular, the X-ray tube arrangem...

Abstract

A transformer unit and a method for operating a transformer unit are proposed. The transformer unit has a primary side with a primary coil, and a secondary side with a secondary coil, wherein the actual voltage of the secondary side occurs during operation when the primary coil is loaded with a primary voltage, the secondary side The actual voltage on the secondary side is influenced by the additional secondary-side voltage drop due to secondary-side parasitic effects. Furthermore, the transformer unit has a first measuring coil wound around the transformer core for determining the first measuring voltage, as well as a measuring element which is arranged and designed on the primary side in such a way that a connection with the secondary side is determined via the measuring element. The voltage drop is associated with the second measured voltage. The transformer unit also has a control unit, wherein the control unit is designed such that the primary voltage is adjusted in such a way that a predetermined secondary desired voltage is induced in the secondary coil and the primary voltage is adjusted as a function of the first and second measured voltages.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a transformer unit, in particular for supplying an x-ray tube device with a voltage, and to a method for operating the transformer unit. Background technique [0002] Imaging systems, for example in medical diagnosis, usually have an x-ray tube arrangement for generating x-ray radiation. To generate radiation, a voltage is applied between the cathode and the anode of the x-ray tube arrangement, whereby electrons are accelerated from the cathode towards the anode and emit the desired x-ray radiation when they strike the anode. [0003] The voltage usually has a value in the range of several thousand volts and is typically generated by means of a transformer unit. [0004] A transformer generally has a primary side with a primary winding and a secondary side with a secondary winding. These two coils (primary and secondary) are wound around a common transformer core. The transformer core usually has a ferromagnetic material whi...
