Abstract

The invention discloses a method for cloud detection by using a solar sky radiometer. The method comprises steps of total-radiance I full-band smoothness detection, visible light band radiance I difference detection, linear polarization DoLP full-band smoothness detection, linear polarization DoLP threshold detection, and polarization angle AoP threshold detection and evaluation. According to theinvention, after detection and analysis of the total radiance I, linear polarization DoLP and polarization angle AoP, the accuracy of cloud detection reaches the cloud detection precision basically bythe laser radar; and the blank of being lack of the cloud detection method in main plane polarization observation is filled.
