Abstract

The present invention provides a welding wire feeding system and a welding system having the welding wire feeding system, which can suppress a decrease in the power supply voltage on a pulling side when the feeding speed of the welding wire is changed during push-pull feeding. The wire feeding system of the welding system (A1) includes: a first feeding part (21), which feeds a welding wire (B) under the driving of a first feeding motor (211); a second feeding part (31) arranged on the feeding direction side closer to the welding wire (B) than the first feeding part (21), and feeding the welding wire (B) under the driving of a second feeding motor (311); and a control part (11, 22, 32) that controls the rotation speed of the first feeding motor (211) based on a speed command (S1), and controls the rotation speed of the second feeding motor (311) based on another speed command (S2). The control unit (11) makes the speed command (S2) gradually change with time when the change amount of the speed command (S2) is not within the prescribed range.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a welding wire feeding system for feeding welding wire and a welding system having the same. Background technique [0002] In a consumable electrode type welding system that performs welding using a fed wire as an electrode, a welding operation range is expanded by connecting a wire feeding device and a welding torch with a long torch cable. However, when the torch cable is extended, the feeding resistance of the welding wire increases, so the welding wire cannot be fed smoothly. In this case, problems such as arc instability arise. As a method of solving this problem, a structure for feeding the welding wire is added near the tip of the wire feeding path, and the wire is pulled by this structure to apply tension, thereby reducing the feeding resistance of the welding wire. This wire feeding system is called a push-pull feeding system. Patent Document 1 discloses a push-pull feed system. [0003] prior art literatur...
