Abstract

The invention provides a compression combustion type methane engine combustion system which comprises a methane engine, a methane storer, a fuel supply system which provides a gasified methane fuel toa mixer, an igniter supply system which provides a dimethyl ether igniter to the mixer and the mixer which mixes the gasified methane fuel, the dimethyl ether igniter and air in proportion into mixedgas and inputs the mixed gas into the methane engine through an intake manifold. After compression combustion of the dimethyl ether ignite by compression combustion, the compression combustion type methane engine combustion system provided by the invention then ignites the gasified methane fuel, so that a problem that it is hard to cold-start the methane engine can be solved effectively.
