Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for reducing application and increasing efficiency of chemical fertilizers for corn based on water and fertilizer regulation of vicia villosa. The method comprises the following steps: sowing vicia villosa in October every year and applying a nitrogen fertilizer and a phosphate fertilizer as base fertilizers for a vicia villosa season; irrigating vicia villosa overwintering water in February of the following year; irrigating vicia villosa sprouting water in March; crushing, turning and pressing the vicia villosa and conducting decompose in April; sowingcorn in May and applying nitrogen, phosphate and potassium fertilizers as a base fertilizer for a corn season before sowing; applying a nitrogen fertilizer as a topdressing during a corn seedling stage; and applying a nitrogen fertilizer as a secondary topdressing in a corn trumpet stage. The method conducts proper irrigation and fertilization in the vicia villosa season, can significantly increase biomass and nutrient accumulation of the vicia villosa, can significantly increase yield and quality of the subsequent crop corn after turning and pressing the green fertilizer, and can activate soil nutrients, increase soil nutrient content and improve physical and chemical properties of soil.
