[0029] Reconstituted tobacco leaf samples by papermaking method reacted with excess hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution, added activated carbon particles, oscillated and filtered, continuously injected by continuous flow analyzer, and measured Ca by flame photometer 2+ content, the outer electrons of the calcium atom transition from the ground state to the excited state, and the energy released by the transition back to the ground state when the excited state is unstable is detected by the photoelectric system. This energy is the same as that of Ca in the sample solution 2+ The content is proportional, so that the CaCO in the sample can be deduced 3 content.

Abstract

The invention discloses a CF-AFP method for determining the content of calcium carbonate in paper-making reconstituted tobaccos. The method comprises the following steps of: making a reconstituted tobacco sample fully react with an excessive hydrochloric acid solution; adding activated carbon particles, performing oscillating and decolorizing; performing filtering to obtain a sample solution; continuously introducing the sample through a continuous flow analyzer; determining the contents of Ca < 2+> in a standard working solution and the sample solution by using a flame photometer; and calculating to determine the content of calcium carbonate in the sample. According to the method, the content of the calcium carbonate in the reconstituted tobaccos is rapidly and accurately determined by utilizing the continuous flow-flame photometric combined analyzer for the first time. The method is simple, convenient and rapid to operate, high in accuracy and very suitable for measuring large-batchsamples.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of cigarette physical and chemical index detection, and in particular relates to a method for quickly and accurately measuring calcium carbonate content in papermaking reconstituted tobacco leaves by using a continuous flow-flame photometric analyzer (CFA-FP). Background technique [0002] Calcium carbonate is an important filler for papermaking reconstituted tobacco, and its content affects the physical indicators such as ash content, weight, filling value, equilibrium moisture content, tensile strength and bulk of reconstituted tobacco leaf base and products, as well as tar, CO release, total Particulate matter, smoke nicotine and other smoking qualities, and play a role in reducing costs. There have been reports in the industry that potentiometric titration and burning methods have been used to detect calcium carbonate content in cigarette paper, but these methods are cumbersome and time-consuming, and ca...
