Abstract

The invention provides a system and a method for evaluating the performance of a lightning arrester valve plate under lightning stroke. The system comprises a processor, and a power frequency power supply, an impact current source, a high-precision voltage probe, a high-frequency current probe, a digital signal processor and an infrared camera which are connected with the processor. The method comprises the steps of a processor starting a power frequency power supply and applying a power frequency current to a to-be-detected lightning arrester valve plate; acquiring a first group of data acquired by a high-precision voltage probe, a high-frequency current probe, a digital signal processor and an infrared camera; keeping the power frequency power supply on, starting the impulse current source to apply lightning current waves, and obtaining a second group of data; and the processor calculating a performance comprehensive evaluation factor according to the first group of data and the second group of data to judge the performance of the lightning arrester valve plate to be detected. According to the application, the comprehensive evaluation factor of the performance of the valve plate is calculated by combining the leakage current and the temperature rise under the lightning stroke, and the performance of the lightning arrester valve plate is judged according to the comprehensive evaluation factor, so that the accuracy of the performance evaluation of the lightning arrester valve plate is effectively improved.
