Abstract

The back-gouging-free welding method comprises the following steps that grooves are formed in the front side and the back side of a web welding end; a web plate and a flange plate are assembled, and an assembling gap is reserved; aluminum-foil paper is pasted between the back side of the web plate and the top side of the flange plate to form a welding flux containing groove, and the welding flux containing groove is filled with welding flux; backing welding is conducted on the assembling gap in a submerged-arc welding manner, and a backing welding seam is formed; when the backing welding seam is formed, the welding flux in the welding flux containing groove is heated, and a composite liner is formed; submerged-arc welding is performed on a front-side welding bead to form a front-side welding seam; and after the composite liner is removed, submerged-arc welding is conducted on a back-side welding bead, and a back-side welding seam is formed.
