The optimization method comprises the following steps: establishing a prediction model of renewable energy output and a prediction model of user load; obtaining predicted values of renewable energy output and user load through the prediction models; establishing an operation optimization model of an integrated energy system by taking the minimum daily operation cost as a target function, and setting equipment parameters and conditions of the integrated energy system by utilizing the predicted values; and carrying out solving through an operation optimization model to obtain equipment output and equipment state parameters. According to the integrated energy system optimization method and system based on energy storage, the energy supply and demand and energy flow coupling relationship is accurately matched, the requirements of multiple types of energy such as cold, heat and electricity on the user side are fully met, multi-energy complement is promoted, and sustainable development of resources is achieved. The system comprises a first storage tank, a second storage tank, a third storage tank, a heat supply device, a cold supply device, a compressor unit, an expansion unit, a cooler, a reheater and a cold storage device.
