The optical system sequentially comprises, from an object side to an image side along an optical axis, a first lens with positive refractive power having a convex object-side surface and a concave image-side surface, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, a fifth lens, a sixth lens and a seventh lens, wherein the object side surface of the second lens is a convex surface, and the image side surface is a concave surface; the object side surface of the third lens is a convex surface, and the image side surface is a concave surface; the fourth lens has positive refractive power and a convex image-side surface; the fifth lens has negative refractive power and a concave object-side surface; the object side surface of the sixth lens is a convex surface, and the image side surface of the sixth lens is a concave surface; the seventh lens has negative refractive power, the object side surface of the seventh lens is a convex surface, the image side surface of the seventh lens is a concave surface, and at least one of the object side surface and the image side surface of the seventh lens is provided with an inflection structure; the following conditional expressions are satisfied: 4.5 mm < f * tan (HFOV) < 5.0 mm; and f is the effective focal length of the optical system, and HFOV is half of the maximum field angle of the optical system.
