The method comprises the steps of determining an undisturbed region and a disturbed region in a to-be-detected region; performing electromagnetic wave CT detection on the undisturbed region to obtain an initial first electromagnetic wave image, and performing electromagnetic wave CT detection on the disturbed region to obtain an initial second electromagnetic wave image; performing electromagnetic wave attenuation coefficient anomaly detection on the initial second electromagnetic wave image according to the initial first electromagnetic wave image, and marking an abnormal position on the initial second electromagnetic wave image when determining that the abnormal position exists so as to generate a middle second electromagnetic wave image; and generating a surrounding rock stress detection result corresponding to the to-be-detected area according to the initial first electromagnetic wave image and the middle second electromagnetic wave image.
