Abstract

The invention discloses a polyamide composition with an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) effect and a preparation method thereof. The polyamide composition with the NTC effect comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of polyamide resin; 0.05 to 3 parts of metal iodide; 0.1-5 parts of a fluorosulfonic acid compound; 0-15 parts of a plasticizer; 0.1 to 1.5 parts of carbon black; and 0-1 part of other auxiliary agents. The polyamide composition with the NTC effect prepared by the invention is a good polymer-based thermistor material (NTC material), and has high elongation at break under a low-temperature condition, high electrifying stability, high thermal stability and good thermal stability. The electric heater can be used in the fields of electric blankets, electric heating cushions, warm air cushions, electric heating plate heaters, electric fireplaces, seat heaters and other electric heaters.
