The invention discloses a parking mechanism which comprises a parking gear used for being installed on a gearbox gear shaft system and further comprises a supporting plate used for being installed on a gearbox shell, a parking shaft assembly, a parking pawl assembly and a parking cam. The parking shaft assembly comprises a parking shaft, and the parking shaft assembly is rotatably mounted on the supporting plate through the parking shaft; the parking cam is rotationally arranged on the parking shaft in a sleeving mode. The parking pawl assembly comprises a pawl shaft and a parking pawl rotationally arranged on the pawl shaft in a sleeving mode, and the parking pawl assembly is rotationally installed on the supporting plate through the pawl shaft; and the parking shaft assembly rotates relative to the supporting plate and can drive the parking cam to rotate so as to drive the parking pawl to rotate, so that the parking pawl and the parking gear are in an engaged and clamped state or a separated state. The parking mechanism can meet the requirement for compact arrangement of the gearbox, and meanwhile the assembling efficiency of the gearbox can be improved.
