The parking locking device comprises parking pawls, a pawl base used for mounting the parking pawls in a pivotal manner and a parking ratchet wheel, circumference of which is fixed on a power input shaft of the transmission to rotate along with the power input shaft, wherein the at least two parking pawls are arranged along the outer side of the circumference of the parking ratchet wheel, and one of the parking pawls is engaged with the parking ratchet wheel to form brake locking while the power input shaft is reversed; a pivotal end is formed at one end of each parking pawl, and an engaged end is formed at the other end of each parking pawl to abut against and fit to an outer gear ring of the parking ratchet wheel all the time. The parking locking device is suitable for preventing a vehicle from reversing; after power shutoff, a transmission shaft of the transmission can be effectively prevented from reversing or the vehicle can be effectively prevented from reversing while each pawl can form brake engage, or one pawl is instantly jointed with ratchet teeth of the parking ratchet wheel, so that the rotation stroke of the parking ratchet wheel is reduced; relatively great impact force is prevented from being generated when the pawls are jointed with ratchet teeth of the parking ratchet wheel, so that the parking pawls are prevented from being damaged; and meanwhile, the noises and the vibrations are reduced.
