The crystal birefringence test system comprises a laser, a light path unit, an electric signal processing unit and a data processing unit, according to the invention, the phase delay variation is used as a measurement index of crystal stress birefringence, and the optical path unit capable of comparing birefringence phase delay deviation degree in real time when the crystal is pressurized and not pressurized is used; the photoelastic coefficients of the crystal material under the pressurized state and the non-pressurized state under the irradiation of different wavebands of laser are measured at the same time by combining the electric signal processing unit and the data processing unit, and birefringence measurement and phase retardation deviation degree comparison under the difference pressure state and the non-pressurized state of the crystal under the broadband adjustable laser are achieved. The device is high in measurement precision, simple in structure and easy to implement, and effectively fills the blank of stress birefringence test of the crystal material under the pressurization condition in the prior art.
