Abstract

Software, methods and related devices for quality control incorporating fluid medical diagnostic devices for measuring the clotting time of blood are disclosed. The fluidic device preferably comprises a test strip having a sample port at one end for sample application and a bladder at the other end for drawing sample to the test area. A channel transports the sample from the sample port to the sample test zone and the first and second reference test zones. A stop junction is preferably located between the test zone and the balloon, preventing the flow of sample for measurement. A sample measurement is qualified if the results obtained for the measurements performed for each reference zone fall within the predetermined range or defined limits.
