Abstract

The process of treating industrial heavy metal solid slag is essentially one cement stabilizing and curing process. New type of cement curing matrix, which consists of city garbage incinerating flyash 70-90 wt%, aluminum containing additive 3-10 wt% and calcium control agent 7-20 wt%, is mixed with industrial heavy metal solid slag or sludge to be treated while adding proper amount of water and stirring. The mixture is then formed into block and cured at normal temperature for three days before buried into landfill. The said process can treat both city garbage incinerating flyash and harmful industrial heavy metal solid slag and is one environment protecting method of killing two birds with one stone.
