Abstract

The invention provides a high voltage transformer which does not damage the insulation property of a mold coil and does not break a ferrite magnetic core even if injection power to an excimer lamp is increased . The high voltage transformer has E-type ferrite magnetic cores 11a, 11b, and a mold coil 13 which is coated with an insulating material and has a hollow part. The E-type ferrite magnetic core is integrally fixed by means of frame members 12a, 12b with inside legs 110a, 110b of the E-type ferrite magnetic core inserted into the hollow part of the mold coil 13. A supporting member 14 which supports the mold coil 13 apart from the E-type ferrite magnetic cores 11a, 11b is fixed to the frame members 12a, 12b.
