Its composition includes (by wt%) potassium perchlorate (KClO4) 38.46%-52.63%, sulfur (S) 17.39%-31.82%, aluminium powder (AL) 12.5%-23.81% and ground perlite 8.33%-15.38%. It is safe and low in cost, and its explosive effect is identical to that of potassium chlorate.
