Abstract

In data-driven overlay network, after the segment providing node receives the segment request from the segment request node, it assigns priority level for segment request according to sequence number of the segment. When user needs high fluency display, giving higher priority level is requested for segment with higher sequence number requests. When the user needs low delay time display, giving higher priority level is requested for segment with lower sequence number. Then each segment request is saved in request queue. When segment providing node dispatches the segments for transmitting, it selects a request segment with highest priority level from request queue, and with entire band width transmits the relevant segment to the relevant segment request node.
