Abstract

The present invention relates to pearl post-treating process, and is especially one pearl treating process, in which chemical reagent is used in treating pearl to raise pearl brightness. The pearl treating process includes the following steps: pre-treatment; compounding brightening solution with brightening material and solution in certain ratio and through homogeneous mixing; soaking pearl in thebrightening solution to brighten at 10-40 deg.c for 1-15 days while changing the brightening solution every 2-3 days; and cleaning the pearl with deionized water and air drying. The process can improve the brightness of pearl, flatten its micro structure and make crystal arrangement in pearl compact and ordered.
