1296 results about "ATP - Adenosine triphosphate" patented technology

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a nucleotide used in cells as a coenzyme. It is often called the "molecular unit of currency": ATP transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism. Every cell uses ATP for energy. It consists of a base (adenine) and three phosphate groups.

Specific kinase inhibitors

Resorcylic acid lactones having a C5-C6 cis double bond and a ketone at C7 and other compounds capable of Michael adduct formation are potent and stable inhibitors of a subset of protein kinases having a specific cysteine residue in the ATP binding site.

Fulfillment management system for managing ATP data in a distributed supply chain environment

A fulfillment management system includes a database operable to store product availability information associated with at least one product. The fulfillment management system also includes one or more processors collectively operable to receive at least one component available-to-promise (ATP) request. Each component ATP request corresponds to a particular ATP request line-item for a desired product. The one or more processors are also operable to retrieve at least a portion of the product availability information associated with the desired product from the database for each component ATP request, determine an ATP response for each component ATP request using the retrieved product availability information, generate a component quotation for each component ATP request according to the corresponding ATP response, and communicate the component quotation for consolidation with other component quotations.

Methods and compositions for treatment of free radical injury

InactiveUS20060121016A1Reduction of tissue level oxidative damage toBiocideDipeptide ingredientsAntioxidantCell membrane
Therapeutic methods and compositions useful for the prevention and / or treatment of cellular membrane damage leading to or resulting from peroxidation of the cellular membrane and a breakdown of the barrier function of the cellular membrane. A therapeutic composition includes a combination of a membrane sealing sealing surfactant and a cofactor treatment consisting of an antioxidant and a cellular energy store. To affect this goal, the permeability of damaged cellular membranes is reestablished by the membrane sealing surfactant, effectively “sealing” the injured membranes. To facilitate rapid tissue recovery, cellular energy levels can be reestablished through addition of a cellular energy source such as, for example, MgCl2-ATP which, serves a further dual benefit of improving the cellular ion balance. Addition of an antioxidant eliminates the generation of Reactive Oxygen intermediates and enhances the metabolism of free radicals.

Antitachycardia Pacing Pulse from a Subcutaneous Defibrillator

Devices and methods for single therapy pulse (STP) therapy for tachyarrythmia are disclosed. The STP therapy can be delivered from a far-field position to allow a “global” capture approach to pacing. Due to the global capture in STP, a series of pulses, which is indicative of conventional anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) delivered by transvenous systems, becomes unnecessary. One to four pulses at most are needed for STP, and after delivery of the one to four pulses, therapy delivery can be interrupted to determine whether the previously delivered therapy has been successful.

Vehicle communications via wireless access vehicle environment

Vehicle Communications using IEEE 802.11p WAVE functionality includes structure and method whereby a smart phone (SP) linked to an On Board Unit (OBU) having WAVE functionality, and incorporating Automotive Telemetry Protocol (ATP), has at least one processor to configure the SP as a GUI for the OBU, and to enable WAVE authentication of the SP through a networked Road Side Unit. Preferably, the OBU opens, after a command from an ATP Client, a virtual connection for streaming data between the vehicle data bus and a remote server providing an automotive scan tool. Also preferably, the SP may use either cellular or IEEE 802.11 control signals to trialaterate its geographic position with greater accuracy than GPS, and to hand off the geo-position fixes to the OBU. Accumulated geo-location information may be reported to a remote server, providing a centralized geographic trend analysis of plural SPs operating with OBUs.

Pre-processor for inbound sales order requests with link to a third party available to promise (ATP) system

A method and apparatus for pre-processing electronic data requests within the EDI subsystem layer and within the order fulfillment application system. An order interceptor, third-party Available To Promise (ATP) interface, pseudo-sales order workbench, and the reject acknowledgment system processes are provided within the order fulfillment application system to accomplish the pre-processing. The order interceptor performs an asynchronous availability check before a sales order is posted. The result of the ATP check is stored in an ESO, and is applied during the posting process with unique user exits. The result of the ATP check is also used to determine key information about the sales order, such as the sales organization, and division and distribution channels. The pre-processor uses business rules to determine if the ESO should be split into multiple documents for requests satisfied across multiple sales areas. The Workbench provides a customer purchase order view of the ESO that looks, feels and behaves like actual order entry screens. The Workbench also displays messages generated from the pre-processor describing why the ESO was held for review. After the condition is corrected the Workbench re-executes the ESO pre-processor. This continues until all messages are corrected or marked reviewed. The supplier can decide to either accept the request, reject the request or accept individual line items.
