A preparation method of a dermatitis treatment ointment comprises: taking phellodendron, ageratum, cattail pollen, stemona, radical lobelia, pleione formosana hayata, rhizoma atractylodis, rumex japonicus root, campsis grandiflora, dahurian angelica root and sophora flavescens, adding water accounting for 5-7 times by mass of the medicinal materials, decocting for 2-3 h, removing medicinal dregs, and concentrating the medicinal soup to obtain a stiff paste for a standby application; taking snake oil and stearic acid, heating and keeping the temperature at 80-90 DEG C, melting; taking boiling water equal to the stearic acia in mass, triethanol amine, glycerin and sodium benzoate, heating and keeping the temperature at 80-90 DEG C, then adding into the melted stearic acid and the snake oil, continuously stirring, when in a uniform state, leaving and cooling to an emulsus state, then adding borneol and alum when the temperature is reduced to 30 DEG C or less, grinding together to a fine pasty state, adding the standby stiff paste, stirring uniformly. The dermatitis treatment ointment prepared by the method is effective in treatment of dermatitis, eczema and the like, is convenient to use, and helps to avoid pathological changes and drug dependence possibly caused in use process of western medicines.
