Abstract

The invention provides a power converter and conversion method thereof. The power converter comprises a transformer with a primary and a secondary coils; a first high-side switch and a first low-side switch serially connected with each other along a first path of a full-bridge circuit and with a first node therebetween; a second high-side switch and a second low-side switch serially connected with each other through a second path of the full-bridge circuit and with a second node therebetween; a first path capable of providing a first rectifier drive signal from the first node to a second rectifier switch; and a second path capable of providing a second rectifier drive signal from the second node to the first rectifier switch. The power converter has the advantages of reduced heat generation, improved switching speed and performance of switch and enhanced efficiency.
