Abstract

The invention provides a power control method, which includes the steps of presetting a signal interference noise ratio threshold (SINR thr) and a signal interference noise ratio judgment domain (SINR limit) on a receiving end, and ensuring that the difference between the threshold and the judgment domain is more than the minimum signal interference noise ration required by a system (SINR min); measuring and estimating the receiving signal interference noise ratio (SINR est), comparing the receiving signal interference noise ratio with the preset signal interference noise ratio threshold, and sending a power control instruction to an emitting end when the absolute value of the difference between the threshold and the judgment domain is more than or equal to the signal interference noise ratio judgment domain. The invention can regulate the power control signal of the signal transmitting power on a transmitting end between a base station and a mobile station in a cellular wireless communication system flexibly. On the premise of ensuring the quality of mobile communication, the invention can effectively reduce the spending of controlling the signal and the instruction and the interferences among districts.
