Problems solved by technology

As the radius of such a machine increases of course the peripheral speed also increases, which leads to very high centrifugal forces, so that this known machine is limited in its conveying speed
Furthermore, the usually smaller diameter of the corresponding carousel only allows dosing with a maximum of two different dosing devices or filling nozzles

Embodiment Construction

[0031] A device is shown in the drawing, which is suitable for treating flexible, tube-like formations having at least one mouth, suitable for the treatment of bags 1 within the scope of the present embodiment but not limited thereto. The treatment bag 1 is exemplarily meant to be filled by means of a dosing device 2 . Alternatively or additionally this can also mean providing labels, prints, paintings, applying or providing outlets, adapters, valves etc.

[0032] At least one jaw pair 3 , 4 with a leading jaw 3 and a following jaw 4 belongs to the basic structure of the device shown. It can be seen that in the embodiment a plurality of leading jaws 3 and following jaws 4 are realized. Each bag 1 is held and conveyed by means of an associated pair of grippers 3 , 4 . To this end, the pair of claws 3 , 4 holds the bag 1 at its mouth or filling opening.

[0033] Of particular interest to the invention is the fact that the leading pawl 3 and the following pawl 4 are connected ...

Abstract

The aim of the invention is to provide a device which is used for treating the flexible tube-shaped forming object with at least one opening, especially a bag (1). The device is installed with at least one claw pair (3, 4) which holds the forming object on the opening. The claw pair is provided with at least one guiding claw (3) and a following claw (4). According to the invention, the guiding claw (3) and the following claw (4) are connected with different guiding rods (5, 6) which can move respectively with each other.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for handling flexible tubular formations, in particular bags, having usually at least one mouth, the device having at least one pair of claws holding the corresponding formation preferably on its mouth, the A jaw pair has at least one leading jaw and one following jaw. Background technique [0002] One such device is described, for example, in US-PS 5 862 653 . EP 0 765 07 presents a similar arrangement. Such machines are used, for example, to transfer bags to processing stations, where they are mostly filled with liquid or dry products. [0003] To this end, individual bags can be produced from flat wrapping webs, which come from rolls and are separated by cutting. The individual pockets are closed at the end opposite the mouth, for example, by heat sealing, by ultrasound or by gluing or similar processes. [0004] The mentioned device is of course also suitable for handling already prefabricated bags or similar f...
