The invention discloses an environment-friendly treating process of discarded printed circuit boards, comprising the following steps of: a. putting the discarded printed circuit boards into a continuous melting furnace for melting to obtain a metal concentrate; b. feeding the smoke discharged from the continuous melting furnace into a secondary heating furnace for heating; c. feeding the smoke heated by the secondary heating furnace into a watered waste heat boiler to generate steam; d. feeding the steam and smoke generated in the step c into a cooling tower, cooling the smoke by the steam and further sedimentating and extracting the formed sedimentation liquid; and e. feeding the smoke generated in the step d and injecting purifying agent into a purification tower simultaneously, and absorbing the harmful substances from the smoke by the purifying agent to form a non-toxic compound, then conducting sedimentation, and exhausting the smoke after being qualified.
